“ItCons is developing software products that help clients manage their recruiting needs. The problem the company is addressing seems real as many companies devote enormous resources to recruiting, and increased efficiencies would release a great deal of value. The company also has a very good/practically useful concept. They seem to have gained initial traction in the software vertical that they know well.

However, to understand the scalability of the company would require more details on the revenue model, as well as the average revenue per customer and the cost of business development. To reach scale, they would also have to extend beyond extend the scope of this technology beyond the one industry vertical (software) in which they are working.

The company has referred to a new product under development called "Intelligent Concept Search (ICS)" which implies that they will be using artificial intelligence to help pinpoint better matches between positions and resumes. If they are able to make effective use of this technology, this new product may provide the company with the differentiation they require to continue to grow in a field with some large entrenched players.” < Back

Dear Friends and well wishers,

Thanks a lot every one for supporting us big time without thinking twice of your personal interest. I would like to thank all the members of ITCONS family, our parterned companies, clients and all those who have made us to reach the level of top 30 hottest startups of the country; it's because of your support only that we are now looking forward to be in top 5.

My special thanks to my parents, wife, brother and sisters, sister in law, brother in law along with other founding & team members, ( To name a few Ujjwal, Renu, Swati, Manoj, dinesh, Anupam, deepak, Rajesh, Parul, Krishna, Rashmi, Prakash, Kalpana etc), who have had sleepless nights doing lot of canvassing.

I had a chance to evaluate this product by this company RecruitPlus. I have been evaluating ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems / Recruitment Automation Software) for past 5 years. The reason for evaluating is to find the best one for me. I have evaluated more than 25 Products over past 5 years and still counting. The Products I have evaluated includes, Taleo, Recruitmax, HireAbility, Sendouts, BigBiller, etc Everybody says their product is the best, and only very few can deliver. When I first saw this product, I was really amazed, the reasons are as follows 1. Great architecture (Lot of room for customization / Improvement) 2. Amazing Features Delivered in the start itself 3. Some of the features are not even thought by most of the companies, though they are in business for more than 5-8 years 4. At least I have not come across a bug 5. Overall The Product can easily compete with, if not outperform (may be in the long run it might, depends upon how aggressive they are). Still I need to evaluate couple of things, I think it might take some time Overall very nice product, my hearty congratulations to Mr Gaurav Mittal on getting listed in the Hottest Startups, and wish him all the best in the future Thanks Kishore Reddy < Back

It was not only difficult but impossible for us to find out the relevant profile from the database on demand from the client. My team used to spend almost half day daily basis putting candidate details in excel sheets and putting profiles into different folders before we found RecruitPlus as resume management software. The application area IT Cons addresses is one where the western countries would already have multiple software solutions available, whether for small businesses or large enterprises. Under the assumption that true shareholder wealth would be unlocked only upon listing, ITCON probably will not be able to generate enough sales from the domestic market and may not be able to compete in international ones. Which is not to say that they will not be a fairly successful business in India. This is a first assessment, since I do not have any sales projections from them. One thing that interested me however, was a reference to application of AI techniques in what they call an "Intelligent Concept Search (ICS)". It is possible that this could turn out to be a powerful USP, but AI is a tough beast to harness, and I'll reserve judgment. < Back
