Mantis connects people with the India's greatest bus travel possibilities by retailing travel products and providing distribution and technology solutions for the bus travel industry. Founded by alumni of IIM A and industry professionals, Mantis is the integrator of all the players in the travel industry.
Mantis has developed state of the art global distribution system (called Mantis Connect) which has turned out to be the lifeline of Western Indian bus industry.
Mantis Connect helps the bus operator and agents to work smarter, reduce operational costs, generate more revenue, encourage collaboration and build stronger customer relationships. At present, Mantis Connect provides over 1000 bus travel agents instant access to 20,000 live bus tickets inventory.

Mantis is making money by retailing of low cost travel products and providing distribution and technology solutions for the travel industry. For providing distribution and technological solution Mantis has adopted ASP model and charges monthly rental for the service, and for retailing of low cost travel product Mantis works on commission.

In 2 years, Mantis Connect has become the largest bus GDS in India and is growing at double digit rate every quarter. At present, on an average transaction worth around rupees 35 lakhs happens every day. Last financial year, transaction worth rupees 550 million happened on Mantis Connect. This expected to cross rupees 1 billion in the current financial year. Moreover, Mantis Connect has helped players to explore synergy and collaborate with each other and use each others' sales network.
Mantis shall soon be launching a website for travelers wherein the traveler shall be able to search and book tickets directly from the live ticket inventory.
The hottest thing about Mantis Connect is that it has become matured and stable platform, and can be deployed in other market.
